I’m Cheryl, I have been working for over 20 years in the professional world of design, both online and offline, with everything in between.
Coming from an art college background, I have always been able to easily turn my hand to most creative disciplines. This I have found over the years and has served me very well when working on projects that require multiple aspects to the job.
Over the many years I have worked with the smallest start up companies to the largest international corporations. The two extremes really aren’t so different it’s usually just a matter of available budget and the number of stakeholders needed for sign off.
My unique ability to step out of my ‘creative shoes’ and into those of the customers, is what makes my designs work harder and speak directly to customers.
I’m you’re go to person for freelance design, and I work with my husband, Gareth, for our photography arm of the company, Stories in Focus Photography.

Research
The most important research I can undertake is talking to you, about your business. There is no one better to tell me about your industry, your customers and your ambition for your company.
Creative
Taking all the information I have gathered, I can then turn that into a creative concept. This gives us a chance to check I am along the right lines and make any changes before we proceed to working up the final creative.
The key to any project is open communications from the beginning, together with a clear process that sets the expectations from both the client and the designer, this ensures the project sets off on the right course.
